A couple of weekends ago the men headed down to London for the final race of the 24/25 head season!! With over 3,000 rowers battling it out on the Tideway this was our biggest race of the season thus far.
After the long drive down from Manchester, the Senior Men headed out for a Friday afternoon pre-paddle down the course from Barn Elms Boat Club towards Chiswick Bridge and back. Thanks to the tide, it was an early start for the boys with boating starting at 8am!! After a quick briefing from club alumni David Marsh the men got on the water for a successful race!!
A special thanks to Matt’s mum Anne, who provided the boys with some much needed madeleines for sustenance!!
