On Saturday (29th February) the senior and novice men’s squads headed back to runcorn for another race. The sun was out and the boys were ready and raring to row the 6k, a great opportunity to prepare for HORR in a couple of weeks time.
The day started with division 1 where we saw the senior men’s 8+ competing in the first band and the novice’s 8+ in the second, and then in the afternoon it was the senior men’s 4+ turn to race.
A very successful and enjoyable day out for the boys, and we even came away with some silverware thanks to the senior men’s 8+ who managed to secure a first place!!
