After an initial cancellation in December due to the rain, this weekend (2nd February) the novice squads were let loose at Runcorn rowing club for Nov Race Day!! It was a great success with some brilliant performances from the novices, a good turn out of seniors to help out, a lovely sunny day and of course the bacon rolls and burgers courtesy of Liverpool University Boat Club!
It’s been brilliant to see the dedication and commitment shown by the novices and their captains, and the development of the squad from complete beginners to competing in their first race. We can’t wait to see what is to come for the novices at BUCS and beyond!!
